Slovenia is marking International Cigarette-Free Day today. Around 3,600 people, which is nearly a half of those who smoke, or ten a day, die of illness due to smoking in Slovenia a year. Compared to 2007, the percentage of those who smoke, has dropped. A Eurobarometer survey has shown that the share of smokers in Slovenia equals the EU average.
