According to the reports of the Administration for Civil Protection and Disaster Relief, a storm passed over the municipality Dobrova – Polhov Gradec covering it with heavy rain. Firefighters were not able to reach all the villages due to broken road links and fallen bridges.

Due to the triggering of avalanches on Črni Vrh and Smolnik, four residential houses were in danger. Strong winds also toppled some trees in the Gorenjsko area while the rainwater flooded several buildings in the Ljubljana, Dolenjska and Bela Krajina regions.

In Sadinja vas at Sostro, a lightning bolt hit a transformer station around 3.30AM. The resulting fire was put out by the Ljubljana fire brigade.
