Today's main event will be a performance by united choirs, which will also be the final event of the first week of amateur culture. The central event will be held under the title Under this Green Mountain. Under the baton of Igor Švara the united choirs will sing songs by four Slovenian composers who all celebrate jubilees this year Jože Lebič, Jože Leskovar, I Simoniti and Vasili Mirka.

Chairman of the Management Board of the gathering, Jernej Lampret says that in recent years there has been a decline in the number of choirs attending the gatherings and there are also less singers in the choirs however, there are more new and younger groups, so it is vital that the festival of Slovenian choral singing is preserved.
