Krka basketball players need only one more victory to become national champions for the eighth time. The club from Novo mesto, who last won the National Cup in 2014, can renew the title on Sunday, when the fourth match at the Leon Štukelj Hall in Novo mesto starts at 8 pm. In the case of a 2-2 tie in victories, the decisive fifth game is scheduled for Tuesday at 6 pm in Stožice.

Krka has won the second match in the final series – the champion will be the first to achieve three victories – with an excellent start. In the first quarter, Krka was already leading by 23 points. The players of Olimpija approached in the third quarter to only six points behind, but Krka quickly put things back into place in the last quarter.

Paolo Marinelli, the first shooter of the match, greatly contributed to the success of Krka. He scored 22 points (8/16 for two, 2/3 for three), and added four more points. Marko Jošilo also stood out with 16 points and 13 jumps. Among the players of Olimpija, Devin Oliver scored best with 12 points.
