Even the Information Commissioner, Mojca Prelesnik, has drawn attention to the problems within the facility.
After Slovenia entered the eurozone, the Bank of Slovenia lost a significant share of its duties. However, instead of reducing the number of employees, it continues to grow. According to the newspaper Delo, a significant share of wages are covered by higher service rates charged by commercial banks.
