They have recorded an increase in visitors from the Czech Republic, the Netherlands and Great Britain, where intensive promotion of Bovec was carried out. At the tourist agency Bovec they are already preparing for the winter season, which will be affected by the closure of Kanin ski center.

The tourist agency says Bovec has a lot more to offer than just skiing and that they were preparing some activities, especially for young families, hikers and travelers who enjoy nature.
