Janus already said on Wednesday that Jernej Damjan, Peter Prevc, Anže Semenič, and Žiga Jelar were going to compete at the prestigious tournament. On Thursday, he added four names to the Four Hills Tournament roster: Timi Zajc, Tilen Bartol, Jurij Tepeš, and Domen Prevc. Tepeš will compete in Oberstdorf, but he will be replaced by Domen Prevc in Garmisch-Partenkirchen for the rest of the tournament, while Jelar and Zajc will make their national team debuts for Slovenia. The last ski jumping event for the Slovenian national team before the Four Hills Tournament will be the national finals in Planica on Saturday.

Janus said that given Slovenia's mediocre performance this season, the team has no real goals for the Four Hills Tournament. "Planica is a great place for a training camp. We're going to do our best to get in shape for the Four Hills Tournament. I will unveil my final roster after the final training session on Thursday. And yes, of course I'm eyeing a top ten spot. All the events at the Four Hills Tournament follow a knock-out system, so the tournament will be a tall order for us. We're a dark horse, but we'll be clawing our way forward," Janus said on Wednesday.

The 66th edition of the Four Hills Tournament starts on December 29 in Oberstdorf, Germany, and ends on January 6th in Bischofshofen, Austria. Last year's winner was Kamil Stoch of Poland, while Peter Prevc of Slovenia won the 64th Four Hills Tournament.
