Hence, a parliamentary election might be called for July 13. Slovenian president Borut Pahor today held talks with representatives of the Democratic Party (SDS), Social Democrats (SD) as well as current and former members of Positive Slovenia (PS) in the aftermath of Alenka Bratušek’s resignation as Prime Minister.

However, non-parliamentary parties may challenge the date at the Constitutional Court. Pahor will meet representatives of the Citizens List (DL), Pensioners' Party (DeSUS), People's Party (SLS) and New Slovenia (NSi) on Tuesday.
