Even parliamentary committees warn against reduction of financial means. The National Council has namely assessed that the budget does not reflect the actual expenses and income. Among other things, the councilors said that the two budgets include the income from the property tax, which is not yet required by law.

Head of the stakeholders of local interests Milan Ozimič noted that the financial independence of municipalities is being reduced. He also added that the available funds are being distributed for the benefit of stronger municipalities to the detriment of smaller ones.
