Nine people have been arrested. The investigations focus on economic crimes such as abuse of office. The house searches are conducted in the areas of Ljubljana, Koper, Novo mesto, Kranj and Nova Gorica.

The investigators are searching for business records and other evidence. Eugenija Carl from TV Slovenija reported that Terme Čatez's acquisition of marine operator Marina Portorož in 2011 is subject of the investigation.
