This year's winter tire test, which was conducted by the Slovene Consumers’ Association (ZPS), has shown that a small amount of Slovenian drivers use low quality tires, most of them use an average quality, while the number of high quality tires was also quite high.
The test showed that leading brands of tires are still most popular, but some exceptions do exist. However ZPS warns that it wasn't necessary to buy very expensive tires to get the same results. Prices can vary by up to a EUR 100 for a set of tires in Slovenia. The prices for a single tire can vary from EUR 15 to EUR 50.
