Delegations from all over the world will present themselves at the fair. Around 600 artists will be taking part in the fair, among them also 11 Slovenian artists coming from different fields - painting, sculpting and photography.

The Slovenian delegation features Igor Orešič, Oto Rimele, Bogdan Čobal, Metka Kavčič, Bojana Senekovič Šauperl, Vojko Gašperut, Franc Skerbinek, Eva Petrič, Cveto Vidovič, Marjan Miklavec and Radko Oketič.
The fine arts fair will be open to the public from Thursday until Sunday. The official opening will also be attended by Slovenia's Ambassador in Paris, Andrej Slapničar, and Honorary Consul Tatjana Rodica Dumas.

As part of a 25th anniversary celebration of Slovenian independence the embassy will also host a reception for the Slovenian artists. The coordination of the Slovenian delegation of artists was managed by the Consulate of the Republic of Slovenia for the Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes region. The consulate connected the artists from different parts of Slovenia, collected the necessary funds for their application, and was also responsible for cooperating with the organizers of the fair.

The Société Nationale des Beax-Arts was established in 1861. Back in the year 1892 Slovenian painter Ivana Kobilca also presented her work at the Salon des Beaux Arts. The Municipality of Maribor, which also supports the project, informs that Ivana Kobilca was also a member of the above-mentioned society.
