Cerar announced to propose Smerkolj, the State Secretary at the Office for Development, after Monday's coalition summit.
Smerkolj is set to be nominated for minister over the next few days.

Meanwhile, the government is still looking for candidates to fill the economy position. But Cerar has not given any details about the issue yet.

Before becoming the State Secretary at the Office for Development, Smerkolj was Financial Markets Director at NLB bank. She has worked in the banking sector for 26 years, both in Slovenia and abroad.
