The reception and accommodation centres in Slovenia are empty. Only 23 people remain in the Postojna Aliens Centre. Interior Ministry State Secretary, Boštjan Šefic, says the influx of refugees will become bigger in the coming days. According to the latest information, a larger number of refugees is already on its way from Serbia to Croatia.

Šefic is of the opinion that the new wave will also affect Slovenia. However the extent of the influence it will have on Slovenia will depend on whether the refugees in Croatia head towards Hungary or Slovenia. The around 3.600 refugees that have so far entered the country have cost the state around 1,5 million euros.

"At the moment all our border crossings are open for traffic, however rail traffic is still suspended at the Dobova crossing with Croatia," is what police press officer, Vesna Drole, told MMC. She also added that the number of refugees at the border crossings is currently minimal.
