The annual report of the institute will include a financial report and will also address councilors for the new term, which begins on January 25.
The news comes after employees were paid back wages with interest after courts ruled against a pay freeze. 80% of these back wages have been paid back. Another 20% will be paid no later than January 2015. The repayments will cost RTV 2.8 million euros.
Meanwhile, the management believes that it has made significant technical progress, bringing it equal or superior other European media outlets. Managing editor of the news program Ksenija Horvat Petrovčič made it clear that there was a slight decline in viewership, which is partly attributable to new shows on other television stations. She pointed out that viewership for the country’s primetime news program has been growing.
