The main inspector Sandra Petan Mikolavčič said not even the inspection will not demolish the building. She said that the construction inspection could order 1.450 demolitions of illegal construction in Slovenia today, but they will not, as they are following a priority list. Who is on top of the priority list is something not even the inspectors themselves know.

Inspectors have also not had their final word in the notorious Bužekijan farm, but all the retaining walls are still standing.

Inspectors this year ordered a demolition of one of the biggest illegally constructed buildings in the Slovenian Istra. The 4-floor, 14-apartment building was located between Markovec and the Izola hospital. The demolition followed a procedure that started in 2009 and ended this year.
