He said he does not want to be blamed for being biased. The Website pozareport.si has revealed that the new head of the Commission for the Prevention of Corruption Boris Štefanec has quit the party just before his appointment to the new post.

For Prvi dnevnik Štefanec confirmed that he quit the party on March 6th, as soon as he found out that he might actually be selected for the post of head of the Commission.

On Thursday Boris Štefanec and his two deputies, former criminalist Jurij Ferme and official at the Commission Darko Stare, were appointed by President Borut Pahor. The new leadership will start working on March 31st.
