The confrontation, according to unofficial sources, happened in the company owned by a person of the Albanian origin, and was the result of an argument between the employee and the employer, reported Matej Korošec for the first daily news.

All three victims were shot, said the Maribor police spokesperson Miran Šadl. "Most likely the perpetrator is dead too," he added. The employee supposedly shot the director and his son, and then committed suicide.

The street is closed. The police entered the building wearing bulletproof vests; they warned the inhabitants of the buildings in the vicinity not to approach the building in question.
