The reconstructions of torture devices from the period between the 16th and 18th century will be exhibited at the Ljubljana Castle during the future months, illustrating the cruelty of that time towards those who found themselves, justly or unjustly, on the wrong side of the law.

From this evening till September 27 the ehxibition titled The Barbarity of Tortures will be on view at Kazemate. Torture devices, tools, and accessories from the new age will be exhibited, used both for forcing confessions by torture and for punishing minor and major criminal offences.
