For the occassion special postage stamps will be on sale at post offices for only 0.17 cents. Supplementary train and bus ticket will also be on offer at stations across the country.

All the proceeds will go to the Red Cross solidarity fund. Last year the Slovenian Red Cross managed to collect around 204 thousand euros. The Red Cross says the number of those seeking aid and food is on the rise. Volunteers manage to distribute around million food packages every year.
