In the Koroško area, the municipalities of Radlje ob Dravi and Podvelka were the worst off. Torrential waters flooded facilities and washed away roads, while winds blew away the roofing of houses and toppled trees. The plentiful rain also triggered landslides that hindered traffic.

In Brezniški grapa, an elderly person was evacuated from a flooded building.

Strong storms also raged in the Pomurje region municipalities of Rogaševci, Gornja Radgona, Murska Sobota, Grad and Šalovci. Firefighters had to pump water from flooded residential and other buildings, and had their work cut out for them with all the toppled poles and trees. In Sveti Jurij, an electrical pole fell on a house because of strong winds.
