A very successful season for Slovenian and Croatian camps has officially closed with a 'best camp' award ceremony, which took place in Biograd in northern Dalmatia.
56 Slovenian and 154 Croatian camps participated in the Adria Best Camp 2015 competition. The camps had been categorized into nine groups, according to their size and location. Throughout the camping season, campers were able to vote for their favourite camps on the competition's web portal.

In the category of bigger Slovenian camps, the main prize has been awarded to a first-time winner, the Ankaran-located Adria Camp. The runner-up is Terme Čatež (Čatež Spa), which won several titles in previous years, followed by Šobec Camp in third place. Among smaller Slovenian camps, the highest number of votes went to Nadiža Camp from Podbela near Kobarid in the Soča valley. Kolpa Camp from Vinica in south-eastern Slovenia, run by the Kadunc family, came second, while Dolenjske Toplice Camp is the third most popular small Slovenian camp among voters.

In recent year there has been increasing demand for glamorous and activity camping. In this category, the top-voted camp has become Camping Bled, whose guests stay in wooden houses. The second most popular camp of this type is Terme Čatež, followed by Garden Village Bled.
