The substantial and comprehensive literary work, the catalogue of the Avsenik music, was presented in Begunje na Gorenjskem by the Avsenik family.

The catalogue was published on the initiative of Brigita Avsenik, Slavko Avsenik’s widow. Lovers of this musical genre can find in the book the entire opus created by the Avseniks during their long musical career.

The discography, the catalogue in the form of a book, is an invaluable source of data, and a catalogue of the life’s work of the Avsenik brothers. It took almost four years to complete it. "It is a collection of their complete work, and description of the lives of Slavko and Vilko Avsenik, but it is also a confirmation of the importance of the influence of the mother, i.e. my father’s wife, who stood by him all the time, and which is often overlooked," Slavko Avsenik Jr. explained.

On the 400 pages of the biography the entire opus of the Avsenik brothers is described in details; it includes a number of photographs not yet seen by the public. It is an invaluable source of data for those who want to learn practically everything about the Avseniks.
