According to BBC reports the 27 -year-old Clancy described the event as one of the most amazing experiences of her life. In the finals the pair defeated BBC presenter Susannah Reid, actress Natalie Gurnede and singer Sophie Ellis-Baxtor.

The ultimate decision on who would win the competition was in the hands of the audience. Most of the six million votes were given to the Slovenian - English pair.
