The elections were marked by a complication in Bitnje near Kranj; due to an unexpected event – a severe traffic accident in the vicinity; the polling station had to be closed for three hours, and it remained opened longer, until 10.13 pm. Consequently the results of the elections in Kranj were known only around midnight.

Maribor: Fištravec
In Maribor the voters could choose between the present mayor, Andrej Fištravec, and the former mayor Franc Kangler. The landslide victory went to Fištravec, who got 74.57% of the votes, and his opponent 25.43. In the second round of the elections 31.43% of voters have given their votes, i.e. 6% less than two weeks ago.

Nova Gorica: Arčon
The outcome of the elections in Nova Gorica is known as well: the present mayor Matej Arčon will keep his position, as almost 69 percent of the voters gave their votes to him. His opponent Luka Manojlović got 31% of the votes.

Ptuj: Senčar
In Ptuj the present mayor Štefan Čelan stood against Miran Senčar. Senčar won with 55%, i.e. 5,592 votes. 45% of the voters gave their vote to Čelan, namely 4,548 votes. The voter turnover was somewhat higher than in the first round, i.e. 53.21%.

Novo mesto: Macedoni
In Novo mesto Milena Kramar Zupan stood against Gregor Macedoni. Macedoni won with 59.49% of votes, while his competitor got 40.5%. The voter turnover in Novo mesto was rather smaller than in the first round, with only 39.87 percent, 10% less than two weeks ago (49.54 %).

Murska Sobota: Jevšek
In Murska Sobota Anton Štihec will have to cede his position to Aleksander Jevšek. Jevšek received 54% of votes, and Štihec 46%.

Kranj: Trilar's triumph
In Kranj Mohor Bogataj and Boštjan Trilar entered the second round of the election, and Trilar came out victorious with 55% of the votes. The voter turnover was even worse than in the first round, with 30.69%.
