The heat will remain through the evenings as well, and evening temperatures are not expected to fall below 20. The highest temperature in Slovenia so far was in Krško in 1952, when it got to 40.7 degrees. The record in Ljubljana is also from about 60 years ago, when it hit 38.8 degrees. Meteorologists believe there's a chance this record could be broken this weekend.
