The projection for growth of gross domestic product in 2016 is upgraded as well. IMAD upgraded it to 2% from previously projected 1.7%.
Last year the Slovenian economic growth was 2.6%.
All credit goes to export
This year as well export was the most deserving for the growth. This year it should expand by 5.6%, and next year by 6.2%. This year import should achieve 5.2% growth, and in 2016 it should grow by 4.7%. Last year import expanded by 6.3%, and import by 4.1%.
Private consumption should accelerate to 1.1% this year, and 1.6% next year, while government spending should continue to drop by 0.4% in both years. Last year private consumption grew by 0.3%, and government spending dropped by 0.5%.
The rate of unemployment is expected to decrease from 13.1% last year to 12.5% this year, and in 2016 to 12%.
