The State Prosecution Council (DTS) gave a very sketchy explanation of their decision regarding Fišer's behaviour in the Škrlec case, Klemenčič said after the government session. He believes it will be difficult for Fišer to do his job, "but he is the one to take a stand and make a decision".
DTS is the only competent authority which has the right to suggest dismissal of a general state prosecutor, explained Klemenčič. The decision of this authority must be respected by everybody, regardless of the individual opinion of the decision. But if a minister had the competence to do it, he would request Fišer's resignation.
Klemenčič had expected a detailed explanation of the DTS's decision, regardless of how they decided, but he was disappointed. The explanation is rather short, contains three pages only, and only one page was dedicated to context explication, the minister complained.
